Building the Future of Public Safety

CALEA Certification
Matcom is actively pursuing CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) certification across three critical disciplines: Communications, Public Safety, and Campus Safety. This accreditation will place Matcom among an elite group of agencies meeting the gold standard for professional excellence, operational accountability, and standards-based practices.
DMV Regional Emergency Infrastructure
Building a regional infrastructure that unifies private police, public safety, and EMS resources — directly integrated with every 9-1-1 dispatch center across the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). This network eliminates communication silos and expedites emergency response by ensuring the closest available resource is dispatched immediately, regardless of jurisdictional boundaries.

Operation Christmas Miracle
Providing Christmas for less fortunate families who would otherwise go without. Matcom personnel and community partners rally to deliver gifts, meals, and holiday cheer to families across the region — ensuring every child experiences the magic of the season.
Operation Hunger Freedom
A Thanksgiving initiative with a bold mission: feed 1,500 families for the holiday. Through partnerships with local organizations, food banks, and volunteer networks, Matcom delivers complete Thanksgiving meals to families in need across the DMV region.
Operation Steal the School Year
Helping children start the school year right — with everything they need on the first day. Matcom collects and distributes backpacks, school supplies, uniforms, and essentials so that no child begins the academic year at a disadvantage.
Operation Water Stock
Cases of water are stocked and distributed every two weeks, creating a reserve ready for deployment in community emergency situations. From heat waves to water main breaks to disaster response, this program ensures clean water is available when the community needs it most.
Operation Caught in the Act
Highlighting random acts of kindness — both from our personnel and from individuals throughout the community. This initiative shines a spotlight on the everyday heroes who go above and beyond, fostering a culture of compassion and recognizing the good happening all around us.
Operation Community Engagement
Matcom engaging directly with the community through cookouts, holiday events, and client partnerships. This operation supports crime reduction efforts, establishes no-shoot zones, and builds trust — all while working alongside our city, state, and federal partners to create safer neighborhoods.
